The Blurb

Baboons sit on balloons, crocs sit on clocks and donkeys sit on long keys . . .

Let Frog, Dog and Cat guide you through the alphabet from Aardvark to Zebra in this hilarious new picture book from the creators of Oi Frog! With a special fold-out surprise!

The laughter never ends with Oi Frog and Friends!

The Review

I adore this series of books and when I found out this one was an adventure through the alphabet, I knew we were in for serious fun. When Frog decides to write the all new alphabetty botty book, Dog is as enthusiastic as ever, while Cat is ever so slightly sceptical about the whole project.

And so, we are whisked on a whistle-stop tour through every letter of the alphabet with animals never before featured in an Oi! book, and some that have never been in any book before! Packed with plenty of wordplay, rhymes and fascinating creatures, there is much to discuss and enjoy, as Frog’s rhymes become ever sillier in a bid to give every letter it’s moment.

The illustrations capture the humour of the story perfectly – Jim Field has a deft touch when conveying emotions for younger children to explore. With a pull-out section too, I think this is my new favourite of the series.

Captivating, curious, cracking! This review has been brought to you by the letter C.

Huge thanks to Hachette for inviting me to take part in the Oi Aardvark Blog Tour. Do make sure you check out all of the other stops to collect all of the letters of the alphabet!
