The Blurb
Robbie is heir to the evilest dynasty in the world: the Sinistevils. He can’t wait to pledge his heart to the menacing power of the family Sceptre and embark on his bloodthirsty future.
The thing is, Robbie is … well … hopelessly nice!
Life in this royal family is about to get horribly complicated…

The Review
A joyous, laugh out loud funny tale of being true to yourself, no matter what!
Robbie is obliviously optimistic, kind, thoughtful and just naturally glass half full despite the relentless tirade of acerbic comments and generally demeaning comments directed at him by his mother. His ability to see the good in absolutely everything despite his assertions that he is evil because that is who he has been born to be is both charming and chuckle worthy.
From the servants who think it’s sweet that he sneaks out to see his friend, to Layla who is the best kind of friend, we see the struggle Robbie goes through to accept his true self and be accepted by his mother.
This is the best of funny fantasy that has a wonderful message woven through it – be you, because you are enough. No matter who you believe you should be from other’s expectations, it is so important to just be you.
Great for fans of:
- Mort The Meek by Rachel Delahaye
- Life of Riley by Simon James Green
- Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
