The Blurb
Yesterday Crumb is determined, brave and nearly ready to defeat a formidable foe: Mr Weep, the Lord of the Dead. Reunited with her beloved Dwimmerly End – a magical, walking teashop – apprentice tea witch Yesterday and her friends begin to search for Mr Weep’s weakness.
Except the dark influence of a strange flower is taking hold of Yesterday’s friends and allies, turning them cold-hearted and pitting them against each other. As the flower’s effects spread further, Yesterday needs to save her friends and rally the magical world to overcome Mr Weep’s dark reign…
But there’s nothing that can’t be solved with a pot of tea, best friends and a big dash of magic!

The Review
Get yourself a big pot of tea, a generous slice of cake and settle in for a tearrific tale of family, friendship and averting the end of the world. If you haven’t read the first two books in the series, I’d head off to do that first so you experience all of the wonders of Dwimmerly End and Yesterday’s adventures in the traveling tea shop starting with Yesterday Crumb And The Storm In A Tea Cup.
Once again, Andy brews up a delightful blend of magic, friendship, and bravery in this enchanting third installment of the series in a world where tea isn’t just a drink, but a source of power, courage, and love. As a bit of a tea addict, I adore the heartwarming emphasis on the comforting ritual of sharing a pot of tea, and the strength that can be gained from it. From brewing up solutions to stirring up courage, tea serves as a constant source of strength for Yesterday and her friends.
The characters in the series are wonderfully crafted, each with their own quirks and personalities that leap off the page. Yesterday Crumb is lovable, yet flawed, with a determination and bravery to believe in the magic of friendship, the power of love, and the possibility of overcoming even the darkest of foes. It has been a privilege to watch her grow from the caged, terrified girl we met in book one. The eccentric and eclectic supporting cast have grown with Yesterday, and each received the ending they deserved. Watching Jack and Napoleon navigate their friendship, accept their differences and support each other was a joy.
The worlds in which Dwimmerly End journeys are richly imagined, filled with enchanting landscapes, magical creatures, and, of course, plenty of delicious tea. From the cozy interior of the teashop to the sprawling gardens outside, every detail is brought to life with vivid imagery, that will leave you craving your favourite treats.
I wish Yesterday, Jack, Napoleon and all of the residents of Dwimmerly End good fortune on their next adventure, and I’d like to think that one day, I’ll be able to share a pot of tea and a slice of something sweet with Miss Dumpling.
