The Blurb
Ten little dogs, sitting in a line,
One chased a butterfly And then there were… nine’
Then 8, then 7 and so on, until only one little dog remains. Will there be none? Turn the final page to find out.

The Review
After loving A Gallery Of Cats, I was so excited to get my hands on a copy of Ten Little Dogs by Ruth Brown. It’s an absolutely stunning counting book that will leave you captivated by the intricate illustrations.
Each turn of the page sees the reader counting back, introducing the concept of subtraction, and pouring over the page to work out which gorgeous little dog has disappeared. The clever rhymes are perfect for guessing what number comes next too.

With illustrations I would happily have on my walls, this is bound to become a favourite. I know it would have been read on repeat when my son was little. Definitely one to get your paws on!
